RESILIENT REGIONS ASSOCIATION
A neutral arena
for regional challenges
We look at the cities and regions on the basis of different types of urban flows. To function and to be attractive, the city must have functioning urban flows in everyday life, even when exposed to heavy rains, heat waves, storms, cold snaps or other stresses.
The critical urban flows is handled by several different actors, both public and private. No actor alone can ensure that the city’s flows of goods, services, money, people, energy and information work. The urban flows is also dependent, directly and indirectly. The dependencies are often critical for society to be able to maintain its function on the necessary and expected level. The development must be undertaken jointly and in cooperation between system operators.
Resilient Regions Association provides a neutral arena where industry, academia, municipalities and government agencies can come together to solve this type of regional challenges.
Together we develop more resilient regions with robust functions and flows – a society able to quickly bridge and recover from stress.
